Alex Armistead

From a young age Alex knew that he wanted to use his creativity in the outdoor construction space. Alex attended Sam Houston State University where he pursued a degree in Horticulture with an emphasis on Landscape and Design. After graduation Alex went on to lead a successful career in Residential Real Estate for nearly 6 years before realizing that something was missing – the ability to be creative. Founding White Oak Outdoors allowed Alex to put his passion into action, which has led to the creation of one-of-a-kind outdoor living environments. Working alongside his brother, Brice, Alex has designed and constructed nearly 50 projects in the outdoor space in just 3 short years…and these brothers are just getting started.

Throughout his life, Brice was surrounded by family and friends involved in the construction industry. He knew from a very early age he wanted to follow in their footsteps but did not know what his role would be in that field. Brice attended Texas A&M University in 2020 after completing his two year campaign at Blinn College for baseball. During his time at A&M Brice worked on obtaining a BS in Horticulture with an emphasis on landscape & Design. During Brice’s last few semesters, his brother Alex extended an opportunity to join him at White Oak Outdoors. It required zero hesitation from brice, knowing that building immaculate outdoor environments by his brother’s side was rewarding in itself.
